A lot of hue and cry has ensued over the content delivery system as presented by British Telecom. The product as such has created a stir in the Internet Service Provider community. There have been a lot of doubts and concerns in the net neutrality fraternity. Many are already looking at this being a road spread out for a two-tier internet. Trefor Davies, who is the Chief Technology Officer at Timico, in the mean while doesn’t think much of the service as being offered by BT. He rather brushes it off and speaks of how there are many content delivery networks that already exist online. He spoke of how this new BT presentation is simply another addition to the already existing list of networks. He, in the mean while speaks of how people should yet not comment into the matter much but rather look at the way the networks turned out.

The Open Rights Group greatly supports and strives for net neutrality. For once, it is only apt that the broadband data traffic should be treated without any sort of influence; but rather equal. BT is again among the giant companies that has a big presence in the broadband services arena. This is all the more reason for their latest product coming under so much of speculation from one and all surrounding.
